looking back to two years of the seminar

The two-year cycle of the Britaix seminar has come to an end. It has mainly been devoted to the edition and translation of Early-Modern texts in the digital era. Different viewpoints have been expressed in the various sessions of the Britaix seminar. Scholars, publishers, translators and scholarly editors have given papers about the advent of Digital Humanities and the consequences of this new environment on the edition of texts and translations. These different approaches enrich our understanding of the complex phenomena engendered by the swift mutations that accompany the emergence of Digital Humanities in academic daily life. (Read more…)
